Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how IDV Education ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with IDV Worksheets (the "Service"). IDV Worksheets is built for teachers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from students through the Service.

1. Who Uses This Service

The Service is intended for teachers and other adult educators. Account holders must be 18 or older. Worksheets generated through the Service may be printed or distributed to students, but students do not create accounts, log in, or submit any personal information to the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: the email address and password (or Google account identifier, if you sign in with Google) you use to create and access your account.
• Subscription and billing information: your subscription status and billing history. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor — we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Usage information: records of worksheet, puzzle, and assessment generation (such as generator type, problem count, and timestamps) used to monitor Service performance and reliability.
• Session information: a "remember me" cookie that keeps you signed in between visits, if you choose that option.

We do not collect information about your students, and generated worksheets are not stored with any student-identifying information.

3. How We Use Information

• To create and maintain your account and authenticate you when you sign in;
• To process subscription payments and manage billing status;
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including diagnosing performance issues;
• To communicate with you about your account, billing, or changes to the Service;
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party providers to operate the Service, each of which processes information on our behalf under their own privacy and security practices:

• Supabase — account authentication and database hosting.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Google — optional sign-in, if you choose to use "Sign in with Google."

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Cookies

We use a limited, functional cookie to keep you signed in if you select "Keep me signed in." We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the Service itself.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and subscription information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account as described below.

7. Your Rights

You may:

• Access or update your account information;
• Request deletion of your account and associated data;
• Cancel your subscription at any time.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections and access-controlled databases, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
